Who is responsible for the processing of Personal Data?

Consent and withdrawal
Please note however that your withdrawal will not affect our right to process Personal Data when such processing is necessary to perform our contractual obligations to you, and/or to the extent we are required to process such Personal Data by law or to defend ourselves in a dispute, to prevent fraud or abuse.
Where you submit personal data on behalf of someone else, you are representing that the individual has consented to this.
Personal Data collected by us:
We will process personal data that you have provided in connection with your contact with us. We may receive and collect Personal Data, as applicable, in accordance with below.
If you are submitting personal data as a designer
- Information collected when you register or visit the site, including your email and password, your name, your company name, your job title, your postal address, email address, IP address and phone number.
- Information collected when you make a purchase including your credit card number and billing address is collected and stored by the relevant third party payment services provider, e.g. PayPal or Stripe.
- Information collected when you sign-up as a designer including banking and other financial institution information required in order for us to compensate you. However, as we use a third-party payment services provider, e.g. Stripe or PayPal, to make payment, we do not actually store your financial information, as Stripe or PayPal do this. Hence, please read the privacy policies of these service providers to stay updated.
You can always choose not to provide your Personal Data, but if you so choose, certain products and services may not be available to you.
Purpose and lawful basis for processing
Our processing of Personal Data depends on whether you are a just a visitor registering an account, a designer, a customer or an individual representing a business partner or other company in contact with us.
Purpose of processing
|Create and manage your membership account.
|Process your transactions.
|Provide subscribed-for services.
|Provide customer service.
|Perform research and analysis aimed at improving our products, services and technologies, including sending you surveys.
|Display content that is customized to your interests and preferences.
|To run contests, select entrants, and choose prize winners.
|If you are designer at NewGlue, to compensate you and to prepare tax information slips.
|If you are a designer at NewGlue, to identify your uploaded content as your content.
|To communicate with you about your transactions, products and services including transaction- and service-related communications such as welcome letters, billing reminders, and purchase confirmations.
|Send you marketing emails to inform you of new products or services or other information or offers that may be of interest.
|To correspond with you regarding our mutual business operations when you represent any of our business partners or other company.
For how long will we keep your data?
We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.
We will also retain your personal data as necessary to comply with applicable mandatory legal obligations or rights (such as book keeping rules) to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.
Disclosing Personal Data
We may disclose Personal Data to third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf. For example, we may hire other companies to handle the processing of payments, to provide data storage, to host websites, to fulfill orders and shipments, to assist in marketing, to conduct audits, etc. Those third-party service providers (i) shall be permitted to obtain only the Personal Data they need to provide the service, (ii) must protect Personal Data to the same extent as NewGlue, and (iii) shall be prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
Personal Data disclosed to NewGlue AB may be available to the Swedish government or its agencies under a lawful order made in a court of competent jurisdiction in Sweden.
If you have entered into and/or won a NewGlue contest, we or a contest sponsor may publish your name and city of residence.
Information about our customers, including Personal Data, may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, or sale of the company and/or its assets, as well as in the unlikely event of insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership, in which Personal Data would be transferred as one of the business assets of the company. We reserve the right to disclose Personal Data if required or permitted to do so by law.
Storage of Personal Data
Personal Data collected by NewGlue AB may be stored and processed in Sweden or any other country in which NewGlue AB maintain facilities and by providing us with Personal Data and using our sites or services, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.
Transfer outside EU/EEA
We may share your data with our selected service providers and business partners, who may process your data in countries both inside and outside of the EU/EEA when performing functions on our behalf and services for us as described in the previous section. In these cases, we will take the appropriate steps to provide appropriate safeguard mechanisms for international data transfers. Such sharing may also, as applicable, be necessary for the performance of a contract between you and NewGlue or have been consented by you.
Your data subject rights
Right of access:
You have a right to know if we are processing Personal Data, to access this data and other supplementary info. If you would like to review or revise information that you previously provided to us, you may access and change Personal Data in the “My Account” section of the site, where you can delete all your information.
Right to rectification and erasure:
You have a right to have Personal Data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete. Further, you may request the deletion or removal of Personal Data where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.
Right to restriction of processing:
In certain cases, you have a right to block or suppress processing of Personal Data and this means that we would only be allowed to store Personal Data but not to process it. This can be done for example during an investigation of whether Personal Data is accurate or not.
Right to object to processing:
NewGlue respects your right to make choices about the use and disclosure of Personal Data. If you, by any time, decide that you do not want to receive marketing emails from us, please let us know by: (1) checking or unchecking the appropriate box on your online registration form when you sign up or in the “My Account” page of the website once you are a member; (2) follow the “unsubscribe” instructions included within each email communication; or (3) by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you choose not to receive marketing emails, please be advised that you will continue to receive transactional or account communications and emails (e.g., confirmation emails and account balance statements).
Right to data portability:
this right allows you to obtain Personal Data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
Right to lodge a complaint with supervisory authority:
If you consider the processing of your data to be in violation of applicable data protection laws, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in Sweden.

NewGlue AB uses “cookies” to enable you to sign in to our services and to help personalize and improve your online experience. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard drive or device. Cookies contain information, including Personal Data that can later be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. The information that cookies collect includes the date and time of your visit, your registration information, session identification number and your navigational history and preferences.
Cookies offer you many conveniences:
- They allow us to identify registered users when they return to the site so that they can retrieve previous image search results, access Favorites, shopping carts, and view their previous invoices.
- Cookies also save you time by eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information.
- Cookies allow us to deliver personalized content to you, including search results and targeted advertising.
- Cookies help to protect your security by checking your login details and may help prevent fraud.
- Cookies remember your preferences when using the site.
- Cookies also identify particular customers in the event such customer would like assistance from a live, online customer service representative.
Measure and analyze aggregate usage and volume statistical information from our users on our site. Information gathered may include, but is not limited to the following: activity of the user browser when the user is visiting the site, the site path of users, general information regarding the visitor’s internet service provider and host, and the time users come to the site.
Remember our users’ previous search of products and services, and dynamically display more relevant content to them.
Record users’ behavior on our site, such as pages visited, emails clicked, forms completed and products and services purchased to create customized advertisements and communications that better meet your needs.
Evaluate user traffic and behavior on the site to compile activity reports for our internal use only.
Conduct research and diagnostics to improve our products and services
Identify users arriving at the site via a referral from an affiliate website or sponsored link.
In addition to cookies, we may use other technologies, including single-pixel gifs (also known as web beacons) on our websites and in promotional e-mail messages or newsletters. Web beacons allow us to measure the actions of a user opening the page that contained the web beacon. We use web beacons to assist us in determining how many users have visited certain pages or opened messages or newsletters, improve user experience and manage site content. When you click on a link on a page with a web beacon, we may record your response to customize our offerings to you.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies. Please be aware that the site is optimally designed to operate with cookies enabled in your internet browser. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to sign in or use other services that depend on cookies but you will be able to perform basic navigation through the site. Security of Personal Data
The security of Personal Data is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to help protect Personal Data including without limitation:
- limiting access to Personal Data to those of our employees who require it to provide services to you;
- requiring employees to sign confidentiality agreements to protect customer and other confidential information;
- ensuring that third-party service providers sign confidentiality agreements to maintain the confidentiality of Personal Data and not to use it for any unauthorized purposes;
- encrypting credit card information on our order forms using secure socket layer (SSL) technology; and
- storing Personal Data in secure computer systems which protect it from unauthorized access or use.
No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
If a password is used to protect your account and Personal Data, it is your responsibility to keep your password confidential.
If you choose to use our referral services to tell a friend about our products or services (including images in your Boards, promotional campaigns, new websites, job postings, etc.), we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will use that information to send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site, review the product or service you have selected and if they choose to join us, to track our referral services. We may use a third-party provider to administer this function, but any such third-party provider may only use the information submitted to facilitate this one-time email.
If you are the person who was referred (either by email or otherwise, including through our referral program by clicking on a link on a third party site or email) and you choose to join us, your NewGlue member name and any information you choose to put on your profile page may be viewable to the person that referred you so that they may track their referral services.
We do not intend to solicit or collect Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18 without parental consent. If you are under 18, you shall not use or enter information on this site without parental consent. Please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
