This Privacy Policy tells you about our online collection, use and disclosure of information about you that can be used, directly or indirectly to identify you, hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”. The terms of this policy apply to all Personal Data collected by NewGlue on the website NewGlue.com and other country-specific NewGlue websites which may be linked to NewGlue.com.

Personal Data collected by us:

We will process personal data that you have provided in connection with your contact with us. We may receive and collect Personal Data, as applicable, in accordance with below.

  • Information collected when you register or visit the site, including your email and password, your name, your company name, your job title, your postal address, email address, IP address and phone number.
  • When using our website, we collect and process information on how you use our services, i.e. how you browse on our website. Our website uses cookies, please see below under the sections regarding cookies.
  • Information collected when you make a purchase including your credit card number and billing address is collected and stored by the relevant third party payment services provider, e.g. PayPal or Stripe.
If you are submitting personal data as a designer
  • Information collected when you sign-up as a designer including banking and other financial institution information required in order for us to compensate you. However, as we use a third-party payment services provider, e.g. Stripe or PayPal, to make payment, we do not actually store your financial information, as Stripe or PayPal do this. Hence, please read the privacy policies of these service providers to stay updated.

You can always choose not to provide your Personal Data, but if you so choose, certain products and services may not be available to you.

Our processing of Personal Data depends on whether you are just a visitor registering an account, a designer, a customer or an individual representing a business partner or other company in contact with us.

For how long will we keep your data?

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.

We will also retain your personal data as necessary to comply with applicable mandatory legal obligations or rights (such as bookkeeping rules) to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.

Disclosing Personal Data

Except as set out in this Privacy Policy, NewGlue does not disclose or sell Personal Data to any third-parties.

We may disclose Personal Data to third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf. For example, we may hire other companies to handle the processing of payments, to provide data storage, to host websites, to fulfill orders and shipments, to assist in marketing, to conduct audits, etc. Those third-party service providers (i) shall be permitted to obtain only the Personal Data they need to provide the service, (ii) must protect Personal Data to the same extent as NewGlue, and (iii) shall be prohibited from using it for any other purpose.

Personal Data disclosed to NewGlue AB may be available to the Swedish government or its agencies under a lawful order made in a court of competent jurisdiction in Sweden.

If you have entered into and/or won a NewGlue contest, we or a contest sponsor may publish your name and city of residence.

Information about our customers, including Personal Data, may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, or sale of the company and/or its assets, as well as in the unlikely event of insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership, in which Personal Data would be transferred as one of the business assets of the company. We reserve the right to disclose Personal Data if required or permitted to do so by law.

Storage of Personal Data

Personal Data collected by NewGlue AB may be stored and processed in Sweden or any other country in which NewGlue AB maintains facilities and by providing us with Personal Data and using our sites or services, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.

Transfer outside EU/EEA

We may share your data with our selected service providers and business partners, who may process your data in countries both inside and outside of the EU/EEA when performing functions on our behalf and services for us as described in the previous section. In these cases, we will take the appropriate steps to provide appropriate safeguard mechanisms for international data transfers. Such sharing may also, as applicable, be necessary for the performance of a contract between you and NewGlue or have been consented by you.

Your data subject rights

Right of access: You have a right to know if we are processing Personal Data, to access this data and other supplementary info. If you would like to review or revise information that you previously provided to us, you may access and change Personal Data in the “My Account” section of the site, where you can delete all your information.

Right to rectification and erasure: You have a right to have Personal Data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete. Further, you may request the deletion or removal of Personal Data where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.

Right to restriction of processing: In certain cases, you have a right to block or suppress processing of Personal Data and this means that we would only be allowed to store Personal Data but not to process it. This can be done for example during an investigation of whether Personal Data is accurate or not.

Right to object to processing: NewGlue respects your right to make choices about the use and disclosure of Personal Data. Referrals

If you choose to use our referral services to tell a friend about our products or services (including images in your Boards, promotional campaigns, new websites, job postings, etc.), we will ask you for your friend's name and email address. We will use that information to send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site, review the product or service you have selected and if they choose to join us, to track our referral services. We may use a third-party provider to administer this function, but any such third-party provider may only use the information submitted to facilitate this one-time email.

If you are the person who was referred (either by email or otherwise, including through our referral program by clicking on a link on a third party site or email) and you choose to join us, your NewGlue member name and any information you choose to put on your profile page may be viewable to the person that referred you so that they may track their referral services.

Children
